School of Mechanical Engineering established China-Germany cooperation leadership group and working group

     The College Party and Government Joint Committee passed the relevant report of Vice President Tian Huaiwen on "Sino-German Education Cooperation Matters", and agreed to establish a leadership group with the secretary dean as the team leaders and the working group with the teaching dean as leader. They are fully responsible for the planning, coordination, organization, publicity and implementation of China-Germany cooperation in the school.

     The goal is: to expand the depth and breadth of China-Germany cooperation in the school, effectively enhance the international influence and reputation of the school’s disciplines, and improve the college’s international education index, student promotion rate and quality.

     The main responsibilities are: 1) To build the unit for joint construction of Provincial-university: Leshan China-Germany Science and Technology Promotion Center, to establish extensive contacts with Germany; 2) To hire well-known German professors to participate in the China-Germany cooperation project, and actively promote Sino-German cooperation in running schools; 3) expanding the “4+2” Master's program in China and Germany, expanding the domestic cooperation department, and expanding the cooperation universites in Germany, extending the level of cooperation to undergraduate and master students, strengthening international scientific research cooperation and mutual visits between teachers and students; 4) preparing for the establishment of a China-Germany cooperative school project or organization.
