Our University signed a cooperation agreement with Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences from Germany

On October 13, 2010, Professor Liu-Henke from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Germany participated a meeting with Professor Jiang Jiuwen on the exchange and cooperation between the two universities in the second conference room of the main building of Emei Campus. The two parties reached an intent agreement on cooperation projects such as the exchange of graduate students and the exchange of teachers. Professor Feng Jian of the School of Mechanical Engineering participated in the talks, and the two sides reached an agreement on the exchange of undergraduate graduates in mechanical disciplines to study for a master's degree in the other school.

Our side on December 10, 2010, and Germany side on January 31, 2011, formally signed the memorandum of cooperation between the two sides and " The Agreement about the German Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences to accept undergraduate graduates from Southwest Jiaotong University in China to study machinery in Disciplinary Systems Engineering on the Master Degree". Since 2011, every year, the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences, can receive 8 students from the School of Mechanical Engineering to study for a master's degree for free.
