On November 11, the selection exhibition of “Sishiyanghua medal”of Southwest Jiaotong University was successfully held in lecture Hall no. 1 of Library of Xipu Campus at 2:00 PM.
Excellent students from different colleges showed their achievements of the three years to every present student, and there were also some characteristic speeches. One student was studying in the UK, so he could only present by video.
Three of the students are from the School of Mechanical Engineering. They are Du Xueming, Gu Yuhan and Shen Liancheng. Du Xueming’ major is transportation equipment and control engineering. The quietness and beauty of Emei gave him a good environment. On the way to the future, he will continue to keep the character of "self-reliance", bearing the teaching of "cultivating talents to rejuvenate the Chinese nation", to become a Jiaotong University student having the courage to pursue dreams. Gu Yuhan majored in vehicle engineering and has a strong interest in scientific research. As the first author, he published his achievements in one regional SCI journal. In the interview of the School of New Materials of Beijing University, he won the reputation of Southwest Jiaotong University. Shen liicheng is majoring in measurement and control technology and instruments. He loves technology, abandons the flashy and has a strong sense of accumulation. In the future, he will conduct research in the cross field of artificial intelligence and industrial robots and devote himself to Made in China 2025.
After various processes of intense game, in the end, among the three candidates from Shool of Mechanical Engineering, Gu Yuhan and Shen Lian got the Sishiyanghua medal. In their youth, they become the best of themselves through their own efforts!
