Graduation project (thesis) work is the test of the undergraduate stage learning results, is the most important teaching practice link in talent cultivation. In order to do a good job in the graduation project (thesis) of 2021, the college set up a graduation project (thesis) working group in December 2020, to ensure the smooth progress of graduation design (thesis). Under the lead of the graduation project (thesis) working group, the school completed the following steps: the proposal of thesis titles by teachers, the check of thesis titles by department, and the selection of thesis titles by students, etc. A total of 113 teachers and 753 students from 7 departments completed the first stage of the thesis titles selection.
In order to let students fully understand the graduation project (thesis) work content and time requirements, from January 4 to 8, 2021, each department held a graduation project mobilization meeting and tutor meeting, to arrange the second step of the the graduation project (thesis) work.
In the graduation project (thesis) work mobilization meeting, the professional responsible person introduced the graduation project (thesis) work in detail, including the purpose, meaning, process, deadlines and requirements for each processes, etc. By refining the work content and process, it is convenient for students to plan and think about the graduation design (thesis) work, and complete the writing of the opening report, laying a solid foundation for the graduation project (thesis) work.
Next, in the normal working state of the epidemic, the teachers will carry out the guidance work of graduation design (thesis) through the combination of online and offline methods, to ensure that at least once a week to communicate with students, to guide the completion of the proposal report, to supervise the progress of graduation design (thesis) work, and to ensure the quality of graduation design (thesis).
In March, the school will organize all the students to complete the defense of the opening report. We expect students to have more thoughts and input on the graduation project (thesis) during the winter vacation. We wish the graduation project (thesis) go smoothly!
