On September 2, our school’s 2021 undergraduate freshmen went to the School of Mechanical Engineering. With dreams, the freshmen entered the gate of Southwest Jiaotong University and started a new journey in life. During the orientation period, school leaders and college leaders went to the orientation points, student apartments and other places to inspect and guide various tasks, condolences the front-line staff, and communicated cordially with students.
With the help of volunteers, the freshmen reported smoothly and received a freshman gift package, which included T-shirts, admission manual, freshman study guide, Yanghua characters and other exclusive materials from Southwest Jiaotong University. At the same time, we provide loans to some students with financial difficulties to facilitate the smooth admission of students. After finishing the reporting process, volunteers will help carry luggage and lead the freshmen to the dormitory to familiarize themselves with the campus environment.
