On May 4, People’s Daily unveiled the laureate list of national scholarship for undergraduates, which includes Li Xiaoyu, an undergraduate in the class of 2022 of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University.
Through rigorous review, 60,000 undergraduates were awarded the scholarship in the 2020-2021 academic year, and 100 of them were selected for the list of laureates.
Enrolled in the program of vehicle engineering, Li Xiaoyu, a winner of the scholarship for three consecutive years, had secured multiple prizes, including the national first prize in the China Creativity Competition of Cranes Design for University Students.
